Adobe Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas Knoll as a student at the University of Michigan, United States of America making a program that is used to display grayscale images on a monochrome screen. Then John Knoll, an employee at Industrial Light & Magic suggested his brother to change and develop the program he wrote so that it could become a software that could be used to edit images completely.
John Knoll then brought the software made by his brother and then demonstrated it before Russell Brown, an Adobe official at the time. The demonstration was successful and Adobe decided to buy the software license made by Thomas earlier and finally released for the first time on February 19, 1990.
Since then, Adobe Photoshop seems to be the standard and icon for similar software that is active in the editing and creating graphics categories. You may often hear terms like “just photoshop” which means to edit the image first using Adobe Photoshop. The term is commonplace and is commonly heard in public today.
Adobe Photoshop can be used to edit and arrange raster images on several layers. It can also be used to edit or render text, vector graphics, 3D graphics and videos. Adobe Photoshop changed its name to Adobe Photoshop CC (creativecloud), which was launched on June 18, 2013. The main features in this version are the All New Smart Sharpen, Inteligent Upsampling and Camera Shake Reduction to reduce blur caused by camera movement.
