DARFILE.COM – Yahoo Messenger abbreviated as YM is a program to send messages and share popular instant files provided by Yahoo! accessed using a Yahoo! account ID.
The virtual world was shocked with news that Yahoo Messenger (YM) would be closed. This application was once very popular, but along with the emergence of instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp, BBM, Facebook Messenger the existence began to be questioned.
Since its emergence until now it has been 20 years Yahoo Messenger has accompanied loyal users. Even so, Yahoo still has loyal customers, namely for businesses, for example online stores and hosting services must include a chat menu using YM.
Yahoo’s Chief Architect, Amotz Maimon said “We will no longer support the old platform starting in August 2016”. This means that is it true that Yahoo Messenger will be retired? apparently not. Maimon emphasized that Yahoo Messenger would not “retire”. This old chat service only moves to a new service with the same name.
The new application can still be relied upon to exchange messages. In fact, the service has several additional features and also a new look. One of the new features is called “unsend”. Using this feature, the user can cancel the message that was already sent.
